Hi John, have you heard the news? Today is National Connecticut Day!

Today is an incredible opportunity for our whole nation to celebrate the natural beauty, innovation, and leadership that spurs from Connecticut. I’m honored to represent Connecticut in Congress and the wonderful people who call it home.

I also wanted to reach out to you because now that the race to represent eastern Connecticut is officially on, I’m not exaggerating when I say that everything is on the line.

This election, I have a radical right-wing opponent who would rather spend his time appealing to Kevin McCarthy and Washington Republicans than meeting and speaking with hard-working folks throughout eastern Connecticut. His out-of-touch agenda would kill Connecticut’s small businesses, threaten abortion rights nationwide, and stop all of the progress my Democratic colleagues and I have made.

I love Connecticut and the people who make it special, which is why I’m fighting so hard to stay in Congress and advocate for our region. Now that we are in the general election, can you chip in to my re-election campaign to help me defeat the radical right this November?
