In 2020, bold progressive Jamaal Bowman defeated an incumbent whose
conservative views -- after 3 decades in Congress -- were badly
out-of-touch with his deep-blue New York district bordering AOC's.
In Congress, Jamaal has introduced bills to stop corporate
price-gouging, make the rich pay their fair share, and to help working
families. His Green New Deal for Public Schools would invest $10 trillion
over 10 years into our public schools.
We just got this text from Jamaal: "Rep. Jamaal Bowman here. Just this
week Eliot Engel, the 31 year incumbent I defeated in 2020, has come out
to endorse my opponent who is receiving big checks from GOP donors to stop
our progressive movement. We can't let them buy this election and I need
your help to push back."

Bowman's re-election campaign here?
You might remember a big moment from Jamaal's race in 2020 when The New
York Times reported "Engel...was criticized for not returning home even as
the coronavirus raged through communities he represents...When he did
return for this race, he was caught on a hot mic pushing for a chance to
speak during a protest rally, saying, 'If I didn’t have a primary, I
wouldn’t care.'"
Jamaal won in 2020 even while Engel accepted over $2 million in help from
a dark money group funded by pro-Trump billionaires that has gone on to
spend tens of millions of dollars targeting progressives this cycle.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
