Have you been watching the insane tantrum the GOP and MAGA people have been throwing for the past 24 hours? They’re angry that their favorite president could ever be held accountable under the rule of law.
These people were fine with the government when they could use it to line their pockets and perform their dirty work, when Trump did whatever he wanted for four years. But now that it’s back in President Biden’s responsible hands, they’re crying. This search-and-seizure on Mar-A-Lago is exactly what we’ve been waiting on for years – a lawful, just criminal investigation into Trump.
A no-knock warrant can’t be approved on uncertain terms, and definitely not one for a former president. Whatever evidence the FBI has on him, it’s not flimsy. It’s big. It’s concrete, and it’ll get that man broke and behind bars for the rest of his life, exactly where he belongs. The power is on our side now, and Trump and his associates need to fear.
After Trump, who knows? The FBI and Justice Department can investigate and prosecute all of them. Either way, we’ll prove here in this country that we are a democracy, and we won’t stand for these corrupt tyrants and fascists.
Another wonderful tidbit of news for today is that the House is planning on pulling tax returns on Trump. We, for one, can’t wait to see how those numbers add up. He thought he could get away with all his financial crimes, but we won’t let him. We’ll get him on every front – from January 6th, to missing national records and tax fraud. We’ll box him in so tight that a prison cell would be less painful.
Now it’s on us to keep pressing him. We need to make sure that he doesn’t get away because he unfortunately has before. There’s no doubt that his GOP cult is prepared to spin this narrative in his favor, ready to help him evade justice and try to run for President again. We absolutely can’t let this happen. We need to get these Republicans out of office not only to make sure that they can’t help him, but to hold them accountable for their crimes.
Already, the GOP is changing the narrative. They’re reaping money from their enraged Trump fanbase and backing Trump-endorsed candidates all over the country. But we’re fighting back. No Dem Left Behind is doing critical work helping Democratic candidates win races against the GOP in America’s Heartland.
