With five minutes left until the polls close, I just wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you. To the staff here today, anyone who's ever worked on the campaign, but especially, and by far most importantly, to you - our incredible volunteers.

When the People’s Vote campaign launched in April 2018, we were at the fringes of the debate. No one gave us a chance.

Since then, our movement has grown:

  • We’ve engaged young people in politics like never before.
  • We have held the powerful to account time and time again.
  • We’ve had 2,800 campaign events this year.
  • We’ve handed out 5 million leaflets.
