Whatever happens
tonight, one thing is certain, John.
Britain
needs the Liberal Democrats. This election has shown, beyond a doubt,
that we are the only people who will stand up for our values and build
a brighter future.
In this campaign, we’ve shown the country
the Liberal Democrat vision for a better future.
We’ve stood
up for 16 million Remainers. We’ve put forward our bold plan for the
change that Britain so badly needs. We’ve rejected the politics of
hatred and division, and brought hope back into politics.
We’re not going to stop, John. Whatever the
results tonight, we’re going to keep fighting for what’s right. And
