On to the General Election!
|
My heartfelt thanks to all of the Vermonters, especially you folks who were my early tribe, who helped elevate the call for a profound renewal to our political system. I also want to thank the candidates, journalists, community organizations and individual citizens who helped make the election process an exercise in civic cross pollination and perspective sharing.
A close friend of mine often says, "Steel sharpens steel." Thank you for helping to make me a better carrier of the message I am sharing.
I truly believe we need many perspectives to see and understand our challenges well. I take this vote of confidence in my call to rebirth our constitutional democracy as a sacred responsibility to improve the processes that enable us to work together toward a healthier, more just, more thriving and more sustainable way of living.
If you want to help me win the general election, please send me an email through my website, let me know what you want to do, what you're good at, how much time you have to share, and where you live. And please give me a few days to get back to you. My first task is to find a volunteer who wants to help coordinate volunteers.
The world doesn't stop spinning because I got some good news, so, I'm off to work for now.

Before I go, please contribute today to help me build a staff and buy yard signs. I'd like to buy a batch of 4,000 for ~$5,000. Every little bit counts. And by the way, who would be willing to put up a yeard sign and maybe more than one?
Respect and gratitude,
Liam
