Statement from Leora Levy on Primary Victory
Greenwich, CT - Tonight, Leora Levy won the Republican primary in Connecticut, and will take on Dick Blumenthal in the general election to be the next U.S. Senator for Connecticut.
Levy, a principled, conservative outsider, released the following statement following her primary victory:
“Today, voters across Connecticut sent a clear message that they are ready for a political outsider to fight for the families, taxpayers, small businesses and the hardworking people of our great state. Forty-year high inflation, record gas prices, failing energy policies, an invasion at our southern border, an assault on parental rights, and general lawlessness in our communities - these are the issues caused by Democrats’ out-of-touch policies, supported by Blumenthal every step of the way. Connecticut is ready for new leadership.
“Tonight, we celebrate this victory from the Republican voters of Connecticut, and tomorrow we get to work to end the Blumenthal blight affecting all of us. I look forward to sharing my message of what a principled, common sense conservative outsider can do for Connecticut. I have lived an American Dream, and I want that for all Americans. I vow to always fight for the families of Connecticut.”
