Dear friends and partners,
2019 has been a momentous year. We transitioned to new leadership with the arrival of President and CEO Gary Cunningham while experiencing significant wins including advancing game-changing legislation such as VITA permeance and helping to establish a city-wide Children’s Savings Account initiative in Los Angeles. We’ve also produced widely shared resources such as the 2019 Prosperity Now Scorecard while growing our community with the addition of the Health and Wealth network.
As I reflect on what we’ve accomplished this year, I can’t help but feel excited about what’s on the horizon: new and strengthened relationships, innovative program solutions and policy changes that end the racial wealth divide rather than expand it.
