I’m sure you saw the news, team: Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago residence was raided by the FBI yesterday to seize classified documents and property he stole from the White House

This is a hugely important step toward holding him accountable for his countless lies and crimes against our country, but Trump and his GOP sycophants like MTG and Kevin McCarthy are losing their minds right now. MAGA Republicans love to paint themselves as the biggest allies of our law enforcement, but the instant the law is enforced on them and their treasonous leader, suddenly they threaten a full-frontal attack on our law enforcement’s integrity. Oh, how the tables turn.

If Republicans are so convinced that Trump did nothing wrong, then why do they want to interfere in the FBI’s investigation? If Trump’s hands are clean and he didn’t hide anything, then why is the FBI conducting a raid on his residence? Why won’t he show us his copy of the search warrant to prove his alleged innocence? Our message to Trump and Republicans: either show us your hand or shut up.

Make no mistake, team: If Attorney General Merrick Garland and an independent federal judge greenlit such a politically explosive raid on a former President, then there is almost no doubt that the FBI and DOJ are convinced that Trump had committed a severe crime and that there was crucial evidence to be found in his home.

These new developments underscore once again the extreme urgency of keeping MAGA Republicans as far away from power as possible. They have absolutely no respect for democracy or rule of law, and they must be defeated.
