This past weekend, I was proud to take part in a historic vote to fight inflation, lower costs, create jobs, and combat climate change. Here are some of the things the legislation will do:

✅ Gives Medicare the power to negotiate lower prescription drug prices for older Americans and lowers health care premiums.

✅ It’s the largest effort to fight climate change in U.S. history. By boosting domestic energy production and ensuring next-generation technology is developed and made here in the U.S., we can create jobs that can’t be shipped overseas, bring down electricity costs, and reduce carbon emissions by roughly 40% by 2030.

✅ Make sure the richest corporations pay their fair share and reins in stock buybacks that reward CEOs and Wall Street at the expense of their workers, innovation, and American jobs.

✅ Gets it all done without raising taxes on middle-class Ohioans.

This is a huge win for Ohio workers. We’re standing up to the most powerful corporate special interests -- Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Wall Street -- and putting working people first.

And it wouldn’t be possible without grassroots supporters like you who fight for our progressive values so we can create an economy that works for everyone -- not just those at the top.
