Dear John,

Last week, Kansas voters resoundingly showed up to defend abortion rights. It's great news — and exactly the energy we need going into November. Reproductive health care is healthcare, and it's clear that voters in every corner of the country know it.

But this one vote isn't enough. The House has passed my bill — the Women's Health Protection Act — twice. Now we need to keep up the pressure in the Senate and show up in support of defending or expanding abortion rights on ballot initiatives and of pro-choice candidates up and down the ballot.

I know that abortion bans disproportionately impact communities that already face barriers to receiving health care and are a tool to maintain systemic inequities.

That's why I'm doing everything I can, from introducing the Women's Health Protection Act to standing with activists and organizers in the streets to supporting candidates ready to fight alongside me, but I can't do it without you.

Our movement is strong -- and we're gaining momentum. Together, we can win.

Thanks,
Judy
