John, it's Trudy's campaign manager, Alex. A week ago today, on the same night that Missouri Democrats chose Trudy as our nominee for Senate, our neighbors in Kansas went to the polls and overwhelmingly, across party lines, rejected a right-wing effort to remove abortion rights from their state constitution.

Political insiders and right-wing strategists in Washington were shocked. Their scheme to roll back reproductive rights was destroyed in a state that voted for Trump by more than 10 points just two years ago! But honestly, to folks like me who grew up in this part of the country and who truly know the incredible communities here, this was no surprise.

Washington lobbyists and consultants think that places like my home state can’t be flipped blue. They think that voters won’t turn out at the polls when it counts. They think that the communities I know, which are full of so much love, will choose hatred and extremism over hope and unity. But, John, they are dead wrong.

We proved them wrong when President Biden won in Pennsylvania and Michigan.

We proved them wrong when Senators Warnock and Ossoff flipped Georgia blue.

We proved them wrong last week when Kansas voters said no to an abortion ban.

And we will prove them wrong again this November when we flip Missouri blue, send a nurse's heart to the U.S. Senate, and bring true compassion and decency back to Washington.

Trust me on this one, John: I know Missouri, and I know we can win this thing. But I also know that we can't do it alone. Victories in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Kansas were only possible because grassroots Democrats got off the sidelines and invested in these states. So please, can we count on you to stand with Trudy and invest in Missouri today? Every single donation gets us one step closer to flipping this state blue.
