Virginia GOP congressional candidate Leon Benjamin called the January 6th Insurrection a hoax. Now is the time for Democrats across the Commonwealth to hold the line and show folks like Leon Benjamin that there is no room for hate and conspiracy in Virginia.

Leon Benjamin claims that the insurrection “had zero negative impact on our country,” and that the January 6 hearings are nothing more than “state sponsored propaganda” designed to build an “empire of fascism.”

Virginia Democrats know that these are lies and conspiracy theories, but Leon Benjamin is running for Congress – which gives his rhetoric a platform and makes his lies extremely dangerous.

Here’s the thing, though: he isn’t alone. The GOP is full of conspiracy theorists, election deniers, and right-wing radicals. We need everyone to chip in and ensure dangerous candidates like Leon Benjamin never make it to Congress. Can we count on you to join the fight and keep this message of hate and dishonesty out of Washington?
