Friend,

I’m not sure we fully understood the impact of what started on December 12, 2017. Looking back, I can tell you: we knew it was an important day, but since then? We keep building on that victory every day.

We’ve continued to have important wins that will make a real difference in people’s lives – like securing funding for HBCUs, fixing a broken repayment formula to support our hospitals, and reaching an agreement to eliminate the Window’s Tax.

These issues – the ones that make a real difference in your pocketbook, your household, and your community – are what we set out to address. Two years later, I’m proud to say we've made real progress – and we've done it together.

These two years have mattered. The bipartisan work we’ve been able to do in Washington has had an incredible impact, and I want to thank everyone who made it possible.

As we look at the election ahead of us, I want to point to what might be our most monumental achievement of all:
No matter what, we have stood together as One Alabama, for everyone.

When we win again in November, it will be because we have worked to unite and build up the people of this state from the very beginning
I’m proud to have you as part of this movement, friend. I hope you’ll chip in whatever you’re able to help us continue to build toward our next win – because it matters now more than ever. We’ve got 327 days to win this thing. [[link removed]]

Grateful for you,
Doug Jones
