We wanted to send you a quick update on how our campaign — and by extension our ability to maintain our Democratic majority in Congress — is going. Here are three things you should know:

1. Election forecasters are saying that Republicans are favored to flip the House this November. Republicans only need to flip four seats to reclaim the majority, and they’re zeroing in on states like North Carolina.


2. The GOP’s House campaign arm has raised more than $215 million this election cycle. After Deborah flipped our district blue in 2020 for the first time in a decade, we’re sure Republicans will do (and spend) whatever it takes to reclaim the House.


3. We’re behind on our August fundraising goal. Deborah is working around the clock to make progress on the issues that we care most about, but that hasn’t left her with a lot of time to fundraise. With the House majority on the line, we can’t afford to miss the mark on any of our fundraising targets.
