Over the weekend, the Senate passed the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, a groundbreaking package that includes $370 billion in climate, energy, and environmental justice investments. This progress wouldn't have been possible without the business support Ceres has built over the past year—which means it is YOUR support of Ceres that made it happen.
The White House Press Secretary highlighted our business sign-on letter in her press briefing last week:
“Today, over 40 major companies, including Levi Strauss, Logitech, Shell, Lyft, Unilever, and more sent a letter urging Congress to pass the Inflation Reduction Act because it will combat inflation, lower prices for Americans, invest in manufacturing, and transition our country to a clean energy economy.”
Now it's time for the House to pass this legislation and get it on President Biden's desk.
We're so close to taking the biggest step ever to address the climate crisis in the U.S., but we can't lose momentum now.
