It took an all-nighter to pass the Inflation Reduction Act and overcome Republican obstruction but, in the end, Bob and Senate Democrats delivered results for the American people again. Just take a look:
* Medicare can finally negotiate drug prices to control skyrocketing health care costs.
* Medicare Part D patients will have their out-of-pocket expenses capped at just $2,000 per year, with the option to make affordable monthly payments.
* Millions of people can continue to afford health care coverage thanks to the extension of tax credits granted through the Affordable Care Act. The average family of four, with a household income of $75,000, will save $248 a month.
* More people will find good-paying jobs in American manufacturing and clean energy.
* New incentives and investments will help reduce emissions by 40% by 2030 while lowering costs for our families.
* Coal miners that built our prosperity, but suffer from black lung disease, will continue to receive the benefits and care we owe them.
All of these victories are thanks to people like you, who invested in helping us deliver a Democratic majority in 2020. Now, we're asking you to expand that majority by chipping in.
