Yesterday, the FBI executed a search warrant at Donald Trump’s gaudy Mar-a-Lago club/residence in Florida.

Now, we don’t (yet) know what the FBI expected to find or what it did find. And the FBI has a long history of misdeeds that should make us look carefully at anything it does.

But this appears to be the first time a search warrant has been issued for the residence of a former president.

And we do know that Trump took documents from the White House to Mar-a-Lago that by law — according to the Presidential Records Act passed in the wake of the Watergate scandal that forced Richard Nixon to resign in disgrace — should have been turned over to the National Archives.

Add your name if you agree:

Donald Trump must be held accountable if he violated the Presidential Records Act.

Thanks for taking action.

For progress,
