Justice Democrats

John, I have an exciting update for you!

Over the last week, I’ve been hitting the campaign trail and visiting a few of our progressive, insurgent campaigns to make sure they have the resources needed to win in 2020.

I’m really excited to share a few moments (and photos!) from this trip. But first, I wanted to ask if you could chip in $3 to help Justice Democrats continue to do the vital work of electing diverse, working-class champions to Congress?

I started this trip by visiting Columbus, Ohio to huddle with Morgan Harper’s insurgent campaign. I met their field team, attended several grassroots events, and worked with their organizing team to create a plan to win!

I then made my way to Chicago to strategize with Marie Newman, knock on a bunch of doors, and offer some fundraising support.

Marie Newman’s Campaign HQ:

While in Chicago, I went canvassing with Movement School Fellow, Dany Robles, who is now Marie Newman’s Regional Field Director!

Dany is working every day to elect Marie because she’s committed to fighting for the people and is building a grassroots coalition for change, unlike Dan Lipinski who has sold out to corporate special interests.

Canvassing with Dany:

Then I made my way to Nebraska for Kara Eastman’s campaign, where she is running a grassroots campaign centered on the people of Nebraska’s 4th district. I worked with Kara’s organizing team to check in on their plan to reach as many voters as possible.

Kara and I also visited a local university and talked about the importance of students getting involved in politics and the work that Justice Democrats is doing to elect diverse, working-class leaders.

Outside of Kara’s office with Field Organizer, Jaden:

The energy on the ground was incredible, John. Folks across the country understand what’s at stake and are ready to fight for solutions that match the scale of our problems. They are energized by our progressive movement and understand that in order for us to win and elect a bigger Squad in Congress, we need to work for it.

But in order to elect a bigger Squad in 2020, we need to hit every single fundraising goal that we set.

And right now, we’re about 17% behind where we should be to hit our end of year goal of raising $185,000 before December 31st.

Please, make a donation of $3 right now to help put JD back on track to hitting our end of year goal and help us elect the insurgent champions I just visited this last week.

Chip in $3

Thank you for everything and for supporting our fight for our democracy.

In solidarity,

Alexandra Rojas
