The lasting impacts of the GOP Tax Scam

This month marks the two year anniversary of the passage of President Trump's signature legislative achievement: the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (aka the GOP Tax Scam). Despite numerous promises from Republican policymakers that the law would be equitable, 83 percent of the benefits have gone to the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans while economic inequality across the country skyrockets and the federal deficit rises.
