JOhn, it took over a year. There were many false starts and moments when it looked like far-right special interests would win out and stop us.

But the Senate has now passed the reconciliation bill that Democrats like Jennifer have fought hard for. This legislation will substantially reduce the price of life-saving prescription drugs, it will make the wealthiest corporations pay their share of taxes, and it will be the biggest investment in a generation for clean energy and critical measures to address climate change.

We have to do everything we can to get this done in the home stretch. There is no margin for error. We have the narrowest of House majorities, and have to hold the line as Republicans try every trick in the book to delay and alter the bill.
