Friends,
Anthony and his colleagues just voted on the Lower Drug Costs Now Act in Congress, and great news -- it passed!
In the past year alone, Anthony has taken critical steps to fix what’s broken in our health care system so that hardworking Americans can access AND afford the coverage they need to lead healthy lives.
This legislation is his latest drive to hold Big Pharma accountable for putting profits over people: The bill aims to drive down the price of prescription drugs, and if signed into law, would save Medicare a full $5 billion (yup, that’s billion with a “B”).
Unfortunately, Mitch McConnell’s Senate has become a legislative graveyard for many bills that would improve the lives of Upstate New Yorkers -- and he could bury the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, too, if we don’t make it clear where the American people stand.
So, we need to hear from you directly:
Should the Mitch McConnell-controlled Senate vote to pass legislation that will lower the skyrocketing price of prescription drugs?

No one should have to sacrifice their economic security in order to pay for a lifesaving prescription. Thanks for standing with Anthony on this incredibly important issue.
