Friend,
The saying goes, if you're not paying for the product, you are the product.
Today, in Silicon Valley there is a group of tech oligarchs who view you as
their product.
<[link removed]>
Your habits.
Your location.
Your purchases.
Your data.
Your attention.
Those are the SKUs that make up the economy of YOU.
And they are happy to buy and sell every part of your life they can find a way
to monetize. All the while they pretend they are the heroes because they gave
the user something “free.”
I learned a long time ago, and I’m betting you did too, that there is no such
thing as a “free” lunch. That’s clearly true when it comes to the attention
merchants spewing forth from Silicon Valley.
For every email platform they give away, for the brand new smart device they
subsidize your purchase of, for every new subscription service they offer what
they are really doing is finding another way to get a little bit more of you,
your friends, and your family into their inventory.
I am fighting for the people of Florida, not the Big Tech oligarchs in San
Fransisco.
We the People have the power to fight back. We can fight back from the states
and we can fight back from our homes.

It's no secret Big Tech is the unofficial censorship arm of the Democrat
Machine--silencing any points of view that challenge their woke agenda and
ideologies.
In Florida, we stood up to Big Tech and let them know Floridians would not be
victims of their blatant and biased censorship of conservative voices.
I signed into law legislation that holds Big Tech accountable by driving
transparency and safeguarding Floridians ability to access and participate in
online platforms without discrimination from the Leftist platforms.
We can fight back.

And we must. Because the way that big tech has managed to protect it its
business from the woke mob is by playing enforcer in the liberal narrative.
Even if their monetization of our attention wasn’t harmful and dangerous (it is
). Even if they weren't being opaque about how they use consumer information (
they are). Even if they were good stewards of the data they’re collecting (they
aren't)...
There would still be the simple truth that they perpetuate an overriding
liberal ideology and they work day and night to silence conservative voices.
Many of these companies claimed that their initial goal was to be open and
inclusive. They even highlighted that as a core advantage over the legacy
media. But the reality simply doesn't match the rhetoric.
If you disagree with the woke party line:
* Plan to be shadow banned.
* Plan to be de-platformed.
* Plan to be erased from the public conversation.
Right now, you're reading this email on one of their platforms. The real
question is, if I were not already Governor of Florida, would they even let you
read it?
That question is being asked and answered millions of times a day by faceless
tech giants who have no accountability to you or any of their other customers.
They can censor with impunity. And they do.
The RNC for example has shown that every time an important fundraising
deadline approaches one email platform diverts their messages away from the
user and into the spam box.
Big tech believes it decides what you should read. It decides who should be
able to talk to you. It decides what you should think.
This situation is untenable. The interests of big tech are not aligned with
our citizens any more. This cannot stand.I am standing up and I have no
intention of backing down.

Big tech has already come for me. I have no doubts that they will come again.
I want you to be in this fight with me.Make a donation today, show Big Tech
that you will stand up against censorship. Show Big Tech that your beliefs will
not corrupted. Show Big Tech that conservatives cannot and will not be silenced
in America.

I am ready to fight them in Florida. I need your help to do it.
