I had a great weekend on the campaign trail traveling across the First District and thought it would be fun to share some highlights!
The annual Sudlersville Peach Festival is a great tradition in Queen Anne’s County. We heard some amazing music from local bands, had some delicious food grown locally in the district, and played in the cornhole tournament!
In Snow Hill, we participated in the revered annual community Blessing of the Combines to celebrate and honor the hard work and enduring importance of our local farm families and our agricultural heritage. Part of my EconomyFirst plan highlights strategies for boosting our local agriculture industry.
Later that day, we stopped by the Berlin Peach Festival (yes, it was a weekend full of peach festivals!), where we met supporters old and new. We heard over and over all day long about the excitement for a change of leadership for our district.
