The recent AppleTV miniseries, The Big Conn, details lawyer Eric C. Conn’s massive Social Security fraud scheme and the devastation left in its wake. By bribing a judge to rubber stamp cases, Conn swindled half a billion dollars. Although Conn’s clients played no part in his fraud, thousands of people in Eastern Kentucky now stand to lose life-sustaining benefits.

In previous rounds of mass hearings, 140 pro bono lawyers stepped up to help, and their representation made a huge difference in the quality of the proceedings and in client outcomes. Now thousands of clients face redetermination hearings and need representation. 

Without lawyers like you, they are almost certain to lose their benefits, regardless of the merits of their claims.
