Hi team -- we did it.  We passed the biggest climate bill that any country has ever passed.

The bill died so many times, was so complex on policy and politics, and had hundreds of people performing daily miracles to keep it alive.  But it passed because so many people knew the planet was at stake.  And, for the first time, the American government is taking action that is equal to this moment.

We are investing nearly $370 billion toward clean energy, clean transportation, and climate-smart manufacturing.  We’re addressing climate change while strengthening our economy. It is a big deal, and I’m hopeful. 

Climate action is the reason I came to the Senate.  Thank you to everyone who worked to make this happen.  Let’s keep it up.
