Graphic
*Do you use Hyson Green Library in The Mary Potter Centre? Then we need your help.*
We are pleased to say that the library has been successful in a bid for funds from the Libraries Improvement Fund [ [link removed] ]. Arts Council England awarded the money for renovations to the shared garden and the inside of the library.
Please help us understand the difference the funds will make to people who use the library by completing a short online survey. We need to know how you use Hyson Green Library and how satisfied you are before we make the changes.

*Nottinghamshire BIPC announces record year for supporting local businesses*
Picture of library
BIPC Nottinghamshire have reported a record year after giving more than 1,000 instances of free business support to Nottingham’s start-up and small businesses owners – over half of them women.
From March 2021 to March 2022, over 1,000 attendees received free business support from the Nottinghamshire Centre. 39% of these attendees were aspiring entrepreneurs seeking to start their own business and 53% were looking to grow an existing business.
There was a dramatic increase in activity, with 469 instances of business support delivered between January and March 2022 alone, following the recruitment of a team of Advisors and recent openings of four BIPC locals in Bulwell, Beeston, Mansfield and Sutton-in-Ashfield libraries.
