Announcing Bend the Arc’s new CEO: Amy Spitalnick,
a champion in the fight against white nationalism.

“My grandparents survived the Nazis. My parents were New York public school teachers. I grew up hearing stories of neighbors helping neighbors to fight for freedom and safety. This is what being Jewish meant to me. That’s what drew me to a life of pursuing justice — and to Bend the Arc.”

Friend,

Bend the Arc is thrilled to announce our new Chief Executive Officer, Amy Spitalnick.

Described as a “Modern-Day Nazi fighter,” Amy has over 15 years of experience pursuing the Jewish call to justice.

As the Executive Director of Integrity First for America (IFA), she helped bring a groundbreaking lawsuit against the neo-Nazis responsible for the Unite the Right violence in Charlottesville — and won. And with deep experience in government, politics, and advocacy, Amy knows how to build winning coalitions across lines of difference to win change for our communities.

Amy is the leader this moment calls for. Watch our newly released video here.

With your support over the last decade, Bend the Arc has grown to be the leading Jewish voice in the multiracial progressive movement. Together we’ve expanded to 30 cities across the country, training hundreds of Jewish leaders, mobilizing to win elections, and joining with partners to put pressure on decision makers — from members of Congress to big corporations.

Right now, with white nationalism and authoritarianism increasingly threatening the future of our country, our work together could not be more urgent. We are so grateful for this movement of Jews and allies, rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be safe and free. And with a long career in public service and a powerful political playbook, Amy is ready to lead in our fight for a country free from white supremacy, antisemitism, and racism — where Black liberation is realized, and all people are thriving.

Learn more about Amy’s story — and why we’re so excited for her leadership — here.

L’chaim!
