In 2018, I beat Tea Party Republican Matt Rinaldi in a Texas House district that had been controlled by Republicans since 2002. I won by running on the issues that everyday Texans care about - education funding, healthcare, and living wages.

For too long, Democrats have been underrepresented and underfunded in Texas. At Fair and Square, we know that when we give voters a meaningful choice, we win.
