Last month, the House of Representatives approved the wide-ranging National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and added a number of positive cannabis provisions. This must-pass legislation was amended to include the language of the SAFE Banking Act (the seventh time the House has passed this popular reform), the Veterans Equal Access Act that would allow VA doctors to recommend medical cannabis to patients in places where it is legal, and several other measures designed to protect veterans and improve research.

Now, the Senate is crafting its version of the bill, and we need your help to make sure they include these necessary cannabis components.

Please contact your Senators and urge them to include the House-passed marijuana provisions in the NDAA.

Lawmakers may be about to start their annual August recess, but they are expected to introduce their version of the bill next month.

Don't let them head off for vacation without hearing from you first.
