Senate Democrats just secured a once-in-a-generation deal on prescription drugs in the reconciliation bill that passed last week.

The bill addressed climate change and tackling inflation but also included changes that were aimed at reducing healthcare costs.

It will allow Medicare to negotiate the costs of prescription drugs and limit price increases on medicines. Drug companies will no longer be able to raise prices faster than the rate of inflation.

This is a HUGE victory for the American people and another example of why we need to maintain control of the Senate in this upcoming election.

If we want to continue making progress like this, we can’t afford to lose this or any other seat in November. The stakes are high, which is why today we have to ask:
