We’re Aubrey and Kim, your organizing team leaders. You’re here at exactly the right time because it’s no secret that our democracy is under threat.

Across the country, in states like Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Michigan—more than 100 unabashed, election-denying Trump loyalists are running for office this year.

We’re at a crossroads. This November’s election could either be a disastrous setback for our country—or the moment where we finally force election deniers to stand down.

That’s why we’re calling you a Democracy Defender. We need people who are willing to volunteer their time and energy reaching out to fellow voters this November. 

We need people like you.

So find out how you can make a meaningful difference this November below. And if you have the time, take a few minutes to respond to this email to introduce yourself so we can get to know you a little better. 

This year, democracy defenders have been hard at work pushing for more access to the ballot box, fighting back against state-level GOP attempts in Arizona, Georgia, and Texas to undermine our freedom to vote, spearheading the push to rebalance the Supreme Court, and laying the groundwork to protect our democracy this fall.

So far this year this amazing group of democracy defenders has:

• Placed 15,000+ calls to legislators
• Submitted 25,000+ letters to the editor to local papers
• Sent 424,000+ emails to legislators

This momentum is an excellent start. This playbook will help it continue to grow by rolling out ways for you to get involved so that, come November 8th, democracy wins.
