The final four days before Election Day are critical for talking to voters, especially those who need a little extra nudge to get to the polls. In a midterm year, when turnout is typically about half that of a presidential election, that’s a lot of voters to reach.

That’s why we’re thrilled to re-launch The Last Weekend: a coalition effort powered by progressive organizations and volunteers to elect pro-democracy candidates in the most competitive races across the country.

From November 5 through Election Day, we’ll be knocking on doors, making calls, and encouraging potential voters to make a plan to turn out and vote for Democrats up and down the ballot. Whether you have two hours or 20 hours, your time contacting voters can make all the difference in the most competitive elections.

After you commit to volunteer, we’ll share high-impact ways to get involved on the ground in Swing Districts or virtually from wherever you live, and we’ll make sure you know exactly what volunteer opportunities can make the biggest impact depending on your availability and activity preference.

With a radical GOP laser-focused on stripping away rights and setting us back decades, we must do everything we can to protect our hard-won House and Senate majorities and build Democratic power at the state level. In the most competitive races, every vote matters—it all comes down to turnout. 

Remember how good it felt to wake up after Election Day 2018 knowing that Democrats had taken back the House? Now is the moment to fight to protect that hard-fought victory, and keep making progress toward a more just and inclusive future.
