We're on step closer to clean water.

Yesterday, the Environmental Protection Agency closed its comment period for its effort to restore states and Tribes’ authority to protect their water. 24,000 Earthjustice supporters applauded the EPA for its work and urged it to strengthen our clean water protections as quickly as possible.
The Trump administration did an incredible amount of damage to the Clean Water Act, and there’s a lot of work that remains to clean up the mess. We’ll keep you updated when there’s news on this issue, and we’re counting on you to show up again for clean water when that time comes.

While we’re waiting, there’s still more you can do, right now, to fight for clean water. The EPA is dragging its feet on cleaning up coal ash, which is a significant contributor to water pollution across the country. Help us push the agency to accelerate its work and undo the coal industry’s damage.
