This morning, four Republican candidates for Congress went on Fox News to declare that they are running to be the 'Anti-Squad' to halt the progress we are making.
These Republicans said that our Squad is “extremist” and “dangerous for America.” But they’re wrong.
Our Squad isn’t just a few individuals. Our squad is a movement that includes everyone who is committed to equity and justice. You are a part of our Squad. And we won’t be intimidated.
The ‘Anti-Squad’ called our movement “dangerous for America” because they are terrified of the work we are doing to shift political power and empower those who have been left out and ignored for too long.
Our movement is rooted in working to undo policies that have hurt our communities by centering people closest to the pain, and we will not be deterred.
We are making real progress on the critical challenges facing our communities — transforming our criminal legal system, ensuring reproductive freedom, fighting for the rights of workers, establishing housing as a human right, protecting critical health care, and holding this Administration accountable.
With your support we can continue to grow our movement and fight for solutions like the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, and the People’s Justice Guarantee.
