In recent years, popular social media and messaging sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Telegram have become tools to spread disinformation. A recent report by the UN found that nearly half of the public content related to the Holocaust on Telegram denied or distorted facts.
John, disinformation doesn’t just happen in a vacuum.
Without a comprehensive strategy to combat it and a group of people committed to preserving our democracy, this distortion of facts will continue to spill into the physical world.
We’ve already seen how conspiracy theories motivated by anti-semitic, racist, and xenophobic ideologies have influenced deadly mass shootings. That’s why we need to tackle DisMis with the urgency it requires. The safety of our communities and the stability of our democracy are at risk.
Please consider donating $10 or whatever you can today to help us ramp up our efforts to combat disinformation.

Thanks for taking action,
Keith Presley
