It’s important to me to keep my supporters in the loop, so I wanted to share some updates regarding my work in Congress and my campaign. Here is what has been going on lately:
- I supported H.R. 4040, the Advancing Telehealth Beyond COVID-19 Act. This bill ensures that all Medicare patients will continue to have access to telehealth services. Telehealth helps bridge the gap between patients and their doctors, and is a much-needed step forward to making health care more accessible.
- Congress passed the bipartisan Senator Johnny Isakson VA Regional Office Act of 2022. I’m proud to have led this legislation in the House, and happy that we are able to honor Senator Isakson’s relentless advocacy for our veterans and service members.
- Today marks three months until Election Day, November 8. It’s never too early to start making a plan to vote. Whether you plan to vote in person or by mail, here are some important deadlines to keep in mind:
- August 22: Earliest day to submit Absentee Ballot Application
- October 11: Voter registration deadline
- October 17: Early voting begins
Three months until Election Day also means my campaign is ramping up, and we need to double down on our efforts to protect this seat. Can you chip in today so I can keep fighting for Middle and Southwest Georgia?
