Hi John -- I’m Katie Hobbs. I’m the Secretary of State of Arizona and the Democratic nominee for governor.

As Secretary of State, I’ve fought tooth and nail to defend our democracy from Trump and the rest of the GOP’s attacks.

But last Tuesday, Trump Endorsed and Big Lie Believer Mark Finchem won the Republican nomination for Secretary of State.

Finchem has promised he would ban early voting, sharply restrict mail-in ballots, and attempt to get rid of electronic voting machines.

I fought back against Trump’s Big Lie that the election was stolen. But now Mark Finchem is running on that lie and we cannot let him come close to victory. Democracy depends on it, John, can you chip in now to defeat him?

John, while I’ve been defending our democracy, Mark Finchem has been trying to destroy it:

→ He parroted Qanon conspiracy theories about the election being stolen in 2020.

→ He marched to the Capitol on Jan. 6 in an attempt to overturn the election.

→ And he co-sponsored legislation in the state senate that would give the Arizona legislature the authority to overturn a democratic election.

We cannot let Mark Finchem come close to victory in November. If we want to defend our democracy, we must defeat him.
