Hi, John,

Over the past several days, WAVE staff members, board members, volunteers, and supporters came together with a much larger community in remembrance of the terrible tragedy at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin 10 years ago. All of the events were incredibly moving, and we appreciate how warmly we have always been welcomed.

Many people have felt compelled to speak out or write about this anniversary.

>> Our former Board President, Reverend Jerry Hancock, wrote a beautiful note for his church's newsletter. Click here to read it.

>> Likewise, our current Board Vice President, James Santelle, spoke at one of the events. You can read the powerful words he shared here.

Our generous, open-hearted Sikh neighbors in Oak Creek are an integral part of our Wisconsin family. We will continue to work to prevent similar hate-based mass shootings and all gun violence.

In Peace,

Kristina
