Today’s date means we are just three months out from Election Day on November 8th. We have three months to talk about the stakes of this election and get as many folks to the polls as possible.
Since we’re now in the final countdown to Election Day, we wanted to tell you three things you need to know about this race.
- Abortion rights are on the ballot this November. Now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, state constitutional officers will have more power than ever before to protect — or restrict — reproductive rights. Aaron is the only candidate in this race who will fight to protect these fundamental freedoms.
- The Republican nominee, Sigal Chattah, is so extreme that prominent members of her own party have formed a Republicans for Ford committee and thrown their full support behind Aaron. Scary Sigal is an election denier who wants to imprison women who seek abortions. She’s unfit to serve as attorney general.
- This race is going to be close. Aaron won his last election by just 4,533 votes — the closest margin in the state. Now, Republicans are pouring money into Nevada and working overtime to restrict voting rights to try to flip our state red. We can’t let that happen.
