Wyoming Beef Council to meet at the Wyoming State Fair

**Cheyenne, WY,  August 8, 2022**
The Wyoming Beef Council (WBC) will meet in the Esterbrook room of the Holiday Inn Express in Douglas during the Wyoming State Fair.  The Council will meet at 1:00 pm on August 17th for new board member training. The business meeting will begin at 8:00 am on August 18th.  During the business meeting, the WBC will hear updates from industry partners including the Wyoming Livestock Board, Wyoming Stock Grower's Association, Wyoming Department of Agriculture and the Cattlemen's Beef Board.  The mission of the WBC is to benefit Wyoming's beef community and economy by heightening domestic and international beef demand.  Council members ensure responsible and effective allocation of checkoff funds to improve the marketing climate for beef and beef products.   A copy of the agenda can be obtained by contacting Ann Wittmann, WBC executive director at 307-777-6399, [email protected].
