I'm emailing today to ask for your vote in tomorrow's Primary Election.

I'm running to be your next County Attorney because Hennepin County needs strong public safety leadership now in order to prosecute crime and support public safety for every community. The status quo has failed us, and my top opponents are just rehashing the same tired arguments from the past.

After more than a decade in the state House, including the last four as Majority Leader, I have a record of delivering change, and I am ready to do the same as Hennepin County Attorney. We cannot continue this epidemic of violent crime, and we need a public safety system that our communities can trust.

In my campaign I have built a coalition that include tens of thousands of union workers, civic leaders, community activists, law enforcement leaders, and the unions representing both the rank and file prosecutors and public defenders. My campaign is diverse, and it represents the future of our community.
