We support Maximus workers on strike for their health! A group of workers holding protest signs with their fists raised in solidarity.

Hi John,

Today, we’re walking out on strike, along with our co-workers at Maximus call centers in Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky and Virginia, to fight for our health and dignity! Please sign our community support letter.

We’re fighting against restrictive break policies at Maximus that make it hard for us to use the bathroom at work. Not having the bathroom breaks we need brings humiliation and distress and can lead to potential serious health repercussions. It’s an even more serious problem for our co-workers who have health conditions or are pregnant.

More than two years into the pandemic, Maximus is still not prioritizing the health of its workers. With COVID-19 hospitalizations on the rise again, now more than ever, Maximus workers need a fair attendance policy that will accommodate unpredictable and sudden sickness like COVID-19.

Some Maximus workers only get one day of paid leave when they test positive for COVID-19.

Can you take action by signing our community support letter to show Maximus we have your support? We’ll deliver the letters when we return to work.

With solidarity from supporters like you, we have the support we need to take bold, courageous action. We’re sick and tired of being sick and tired. Thank you for your support!

In Solidarity,

Anna Flemmings, Hattiesburg, Miss.

Antonia Bender, Hattiesburg, Miss.

Tonya Jackson, Hattiesburg, Miss.

Sheree Collier, Hattiesburg, Miss.

Dajai Sertin, Hattiesburg, Miss.
