Two weeks from Wednesday is the Aug. 24 deadline, when we must submit more than 40,000 signatures to ensure that voters have the chance to decide this fall whether illegal immigrants should be rewarded with driver's licenses.
We'd like to share some information you can use to help us reach that goal, but first here are two important signature relation events on tap for this week:
WHAT: GOP Candidates Meet-and-Greet w/Signers and Volunteer Signature Collectors.
WHEN: Tomorrow (Tuesday), Aug. 9, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
All 2022 Republican candidates have been invited to meet and greet signers during this special four-hour event.
WHAT: WRKO host Howie Carr's "Red Wave Live Summer Tour" to broadcast live with fellow host
Grace Curley during Cape Cod signature-collection event hosted by Scally's Irish Ale House.
WHEN: Friday, Aug. 12, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Expect to see and hear from several special guests, including 2022 Republican candidates.
Here is some more important information you can use and share with others:
- If you haven't already received signature forms, please email John Milligan at [email protected] to ask for additional forms. It doesn't matter if you can only get five or six signatures, every last one will help make a difference.
- Very important -- please deliver your signature forms to your local town or city clerk. Even if your form lists only a few signatures, submit anything you have and we can send you additional forms.
- Please keep a count of how many signatures you've obtained. You can email your numbers each Sunday to [email protected] and we will then post updates every Friday.
- Forms can also be picked up in person at MassGOP's Woburn headquarters, located at 400 West Cummings Park, Suite 5650, or at our satellite office in Westford, located at 10 Technology Park Drive, Suite 101.
