Ron DeSantis is a European-style dictator from the 1940s, and only getting worse every day.

This is not hyperbole, he makes this clear with his cruelty, corruption and very own Florida coup. Just last week, he indefinitely suspended state attorney Andrew Warren for following the law and the courts, and not enforcing Florida's 15-week abortion ban while its constitutionality is still being adjudicated in state courts.  

Warren, had quite the response to this tin-pot tyrant with the Mussolini-esue poses:

Warren rightly accused DeSantis of "trying to overthrow democracy here in Hillsborough County...If the governor thinks he can do a better job, then he should run for state attorney or not President." Senate Minority Leader Sen. Lauren Book added that DeSantis was “behaving more like a dictator than ‘America’s governor.’”

Which is all DeSantis knows how to do, be a bully. The DeSantis abortion decree will force birth on women victimized by rape and molestation into prison, and will criminalize doctors for treating their patients. You may remember he arrested a former government official for keeping track fo COVID numbers in Florida, because he let Flordians die by ignoring the pandemic and lying about masks and vaccines. 

DeSantis attacked and financially penalized Disney for supporting the rights of gay and lesbian Americans and both the Tampa Bay Rays and Miami Heat for using their platforms to educate Floridians about gun violence and advocate for legislation to prevent the shoot 'em up that Florida has become daily.
