Each year, those who have lost a loved one to suicide gather at events all over the world on International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, also known as Survivor Day. This year, Survivor Day takes place on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

At events both in-person and virtual, suicide loss survivors connect with others in their community to share stories and find comfort and hope in the knowledge that they are not alone. For many people, the occasion is an opportunity to be with others who have also lost loved ones to suicide, and gain understanding and support toward their healing journey.

While each event is unique, all feature an AFSP-produced documentary that offers a message of growth, resilience, and connection. (You can read “10 Reasons to Attend a Survivor Day Event” [here]([link removed]).)

We hope you will join us. Please feel free to share the event information with others, as you never know who else may need this unique kind of support.
