Protecting the Right to Marry Who You Love
In the wake of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson decision and Justice Clarence Thomas’ opinion threatening decisions guaranteeing the right to same-sex and interracial marriage, Mikie voted to protect marriage equality [[link removed]] no matter what extreme decision the Supreme Court hands down next.
Mikie’s Fight for Reproductive Rights Continues
In the absence of Roe v. Wade , Mikie is continuing to lead efforts to protect access to reproductive care. She helped pass a measure in the House that would protect access to birth control [[link removed]] -- another right Justice Thomas threatened -- and Americas’ right to travel out of state for the care they need. Mikie knows reproductive care and contraception are tied to not only women’s health but their economic well-being, too, and she’s going to keep fighting as long as these rights are under attack.
Mikie Meets with Ukraine’s President

Mikie celebrated National Ice Cream Month with Bloomfield Mayor Michael Venezia and a trip to Holsten’s in NJ-11, which was ranked the best ice cream shop in New Jersey – and the restaurant featured in that famous last scene of “The Sopranos.”
