At a campaign event in 2018 for Ilhan Omar, I was physically attacked by freshman Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.

Why did she attack me?

Because I asked this question: “Are you willing to admit, as a Congresswoman, that Hamas is a terrorist organization?”

With Ilhan Omar looking on in approval, and closely surrounded by her supporters, Rashida violently snatched my phone from my hand to intimidate me and prevent me from recording.

And it was all caught on tape!

After reviewing the footage, Larry Klayman, chairman of Freedom Watch, filed a lawsuit on my behalf against Tlaib.

Journalists should be free to ask questions to public figures without fear of violence.

This morning, we had oral arguments scheduled in Minnesota, but we have had a VERY hard time finding a local attorney in Minnesota who would be brave enough to assist with the case and allow Mr. Klayman to represent me pro hac vice (basically a local attorney licensed to practice in the state has to “vouch” for an out-of-state attorney).

THANKFULLY, the judge in the case issued an order yesterday allowing the case to move forward without the oral arguments as our filings were “complete and thorough” and no oral arguments were necessary to resolve the current motion filed by Tlaib.

But we’re still in a bit of a bind.

Minnesota is the home to Ilhan Omar, and the Attorney General is former DNC Deputy Chairman Keith Ellison (who I confronted about his physical abuse of his ex-girlfriends).

We’ve found no local attorneys brave enough to help us in the state.

P.S. Rashida Tlaib’s team was insistent I appear in court this morning without an attorney.

Given the anti-Semitic shooting this week, in New Jersey, and the terrorist attack in Florida last week, I don’t think it’s fair to send a Jewish woman who is an advocate against Islamic Terrorism into a city were the first Muslim Somali Immigrant elected to Congress won her election by 78%. I’ll eventually have to appear, but only with local counsel . . . and a bodyguard. Help fund those costs here.
