Dear Friend,
Transdev believes they can screw over WMATA workers, and ATU 689 members are going to prove them wrong... again.
MetroAccess workers are on strike for a fair contract that values their skills and offers a pathway to the middle class. You might remember that this same multinational contractor fought workers demands and lost at Cinderbed Road. Transdev needs to bargain in good faith. WMATA needs to realize that Transdev and other subcontractors are not working for the system and workers and hire them directly.
We stand with MetroAccess workers so they get the contract they deserve and the system can return to full operation.
