Marriage equality is the law of the land right now because of a Supreme Court decision in 2015.

But the Supreme Court showed their willingness to toss precedent out the window when they overturned Roe v. Wade . It is crucial that the Senate act to codify marriage equality into law as soon as possible.

Sign our petition if you support marriage equality, and want the Senate to codify it into law this year.

The House has already taken the important step of passing a bill to codify marriage equality into law. Doing so would limit the Supreme Court’s ability to take marriage equality away simply by reversing their decision in the landmark 2015 case Obergefell v. Hodges .

All that is needed is for the Senate to act. It will take 60 votes to get this to pass, and Mark is working hard to make sure the Senate acts to keep these rights secure.
